Welcome to Module 3 - Planning & Policy Drivers for a Circular Built Environment. CIRCuIT has developed a collection of six interactive e-learning modules. The modules disseminate findings, best practice and information about the circular economy in the built environment. They will teach you how it can be implemented at the city level. Who should take this module? This module is best fit for planning policy officers as well as climate action leaders in the city. What will I learn? • Understand the common barriers to implementing circular economy principles • Review the key policy instruments that can be used to drive circularity in your city • Understand policies that can be used to extend lifecycles, increase urban mining, and drive circular construction, and learn from best practice examples What to look forward to You will hear from Satu Huuhka, Associate Professor at Tampere University and CIRCuIT partner and Rafe Bertram, Head of Climate Action and Sustainability at Enfield Council Assessment 4 x activities, 2 x quizzes
