About the Event

City governments are well placed to set a regulatory framework that can drive their cities towards sustainable futures. By embedding circular economy principles into urban policy levers, cities can bring about changes to the use and management of materials in cities.

Join a webinar hosted by C40 Cities and CIRCuIT that examines the role of planning policy in enabling sustainable and circular construction in cities. The session will include a presentation of the recent CIRCuIT report, Circular economy in urban planning and building permits – possibilities and limitations, and discuss how cities can begin establishing enabling conditions for circular economy in planning and building permitting procedures.

This is the second session of the same webinar that will also be held on 16 June 2021.
