About the Event

As part of the CIRCuIT project, ReLondon is researching London's reuse and recycling market. As part of this, the team have been conducting a series of stakeholder engagement activities with representatives from across the supply chain.

In order to understand the supply of materials for reuse and high value recycling, one-on-one conversations with experts from demolition, reclaim/reuse, recycling, and trade associations have been conducted. To complete the next stage of the research, they are hosting two workshops to validate and build upon their findings.

Workshop 1

Title: How do we improve the circular marketplace for building materials in London?

Date & Time: 14th June 2021,  2pm to 4pm

The key focus for this workshop is to engage with the demand side of the market in London. We are especially

interested to hear from investors, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants who have

experience in incorporating reclaimed and recycled materials into new projects (or trying to).

Workshop 2

Title: How do we improve the circular marketplace for wood/timber in London?

Date & time: 15th June 2021, 2pm to 4pm

The key focus for this workshop is to do a deep dive into the timber reuse and recycling supply chain. We are

interested to hear from anyone who has experience in the reuse or recycling of timber from a supply (demolition,

waste management, manufacturing, or demand (design, specification, construction) perspectives.

If you are interested in participating in either workshop, please get in touch with Dr Purva Tavri at purva.tavri@relondon.gov.uk by Monday 7th June 2021.

To ensure we can facilitate effective discussion places are limited to 30 spaces per workshop. We will send confirmation and joining details via email by Friday 11th June.
