CIRCuIT spotlights circular construction at London Build Expo

Updated: Dec 2, 2022

CIRCuIT London partners catapulted circular construction into the spotlight at London Build Expo in Olympia, London from 16-17 November 2022.

London Build is the UK's largest construction show, attracting 30,000+ registered visitors from contractors, architects, civil engineers, developers, local councils, house builders/associations and construction professionals.

The CIRCuIT stand offered a hub of networking and knowledge exchange for attendees curious about the project and circular construction more broadly, while project partner Grimshaw provided an engaging VR and AR experience at the stand to demonstrate the RightSizer project - an award-winning concept for a flexible and sustainable intergenerational housing model; one of nine circular demonstrator projects in London.

There was a packed audience for CIRCuIT's session on the sustainability stage where our expert panel outlined insights and impactful calls-to-action on how we can apply the circular economy through flexible design to help future proof cities. Speakers included our partners from ReLondon and Grimshaw, as well as our panellists from Meridian Water, Max Fordham LLP, Mott MacDonald and Alliance for Sustainable Building Products (ASBP).
