The CIRCuIT City Network is a forum of 12 cities external to CIRCuIT’s main city regions; Copenhagen, Hamburg, Helsinki Region and Greater London. The network will take part in a two-way flow of information, allowing the project to gain best practice from a wider range of cities and making project results available and sharing our experiences with other cities.
The participating cities will gain valuable knowledge and insight into the concepts around circular construction, receive our project findings first-hand and provide input to steer the project activities. They will also benefit from developing contacts and sharing knowledge with the wider CIRCuIT Network, which includes the consortium’s 29 partners and urban decision makers from the four partner city regions, as well as the representatives from other cities across Europe in the City Network.
Networking and knowledge sharing will be facilitated by four City Network meetings which will take place between November 2020 until the end of the project in 2023. Each meeting will be hosted in each of CIRCuIT’s four main cities. The first meeting will be held on the 3rd of November 2020 hosted online by London on. There will also be regular communication in between these events through our project newsletter. City Network participants will also benefit from training opportunities which will take place towards the end of the project.
Membership of the CIRCuIT City Network is currently being finalised, if you are interested and would like to find out more please do not hesitate to contact the CIRCuIT City Network co-ordinator: Andrea Charlson (andrea.charlson@lwarb.gov.uk).
